PB Chairman PGRI, Sulistiyo, explained, there are rumors that circulated when Kemenpan want to add hours of teaching teachers to be equivalent to hours of work of Civil Servants (PNS) in general, that which was originally 24 hours a week to 27.5 hours a week.

"Please do not make regulations that lead to teacher stress," said Sulistiyo, when met on the sidelines of RakornasPB PGRI, Thursday (09/08/2011) evening, in Jakarta.

He gave examples, such as teachers who teach subjects that only gets a small art one hour a week. To meet the 24 hours of teaching time, means that teachers must teach 24 classes with 40 students, but not every school has 24 classes.

"I hope this time PGRI recommendations can be considered, including the final regulations a minimum income of non-civil servant teachers, to be more regulated by government.
